Location: Kitchener, Ontario

Summary: Fast-paced and growing small business in custom & specialized fiber optics requires an additional production technician to help in the preparation and construction of fiber optic assemblies. The work is NON-repetitive and is manual, requiring good motor skills. Introduction to our products and training will be provided.

Full-time will be offered pending a 3 month trial period.

Starting salary: To be negotiated

Necessary Skills:

• Good hand-eye coordination
• Manual dexterity
• Fine motor skills
• Experienced in computer usage
• Able to gather information

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Extremely organized
• Detail oriented
• Capable problem solver, critical thinker, and decision maker
• Must be able to communicate in spoken and written English and have strong numeracy skills
• Must have completed high school; college or technical training is an asset
• Ideal candidate would have an interest in optical fiber assemblies
